Hugo De Jesus brings nearly three decades of expertise in the building and construction industry, with a strong focus on building defects and water-related forensic analysis. His experience covers diverse architectural forms and building classes, with particular strength in identifying complex failures including water ingress, consequential damage, and construction defects.

Qualifications & Experience

Licensed builder and accredited Building Consultant
Completed expert witness training through the University of New South Wales
Trade qualifications in solid plastering, brick and block laying, and waterproofing
Hands-on experience in framing, sheeting, concreting, minor carpentry, tiling, and trade supervision
Extensive experience across the full remediation lifecycle: forensic investigations, rectification strategies, remedial work supervision, and quality assurance
